Krista Nicole Photography will capture all of the precious moments for your wedding, event or portrait session. Krista Nicole Photography services northern NJ, the Jersey Shore, and Central Jersey. Beginning in summer 2013, Krista will also be servicing the Lehigh Valley and Philadelphia areas within PA.

My two passions in life are technology and photography. Call me a super geek--go ahead, do it, it's an honor to me! Both passions started at a young age, though I was pretty young when my desire to grab a camera and take photos struck me (5 years old, to be exact). I have always been drawn to capturing the fleeting, candid moments that would otherwise be missed.

After many years of taking "pics," I decided it was time to take my passion and make it a reality. Krista Nicole Photography, established in 2009, is rooted in the passion and love of the art of photography. I received my training through both formal schooling, via the NY Institute of Photography, as well as learning the good ol' hard way -- trial and error, learning from others, and more trial and error. While I've mastered the basics, I believe every photographer learns something new with each and every session -- I know I certainly do!

Weddings are my absolute favorite events to photograph because I'm a hopeless romantic at heart and there are so many special moments that happen within that single day, and I just don't want the bride and groom to miss any of it (even if they don't see the photos until after their honeymoon). I also enjoy birthdays, events, and family portrait sessions (especially in the fall, outdoors)! Ohh, and newborns. Oh how I love a delicate newborn session -- something about the new life that just gets me. Yep, I'm a complete mush! For fun, and my own enjoyment, I also love photographing trees.

Do you have liability insurance?
Yes

Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
All photos are digitally processed and the best photos from the day are all hand retouched and processed.

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
I can shoot in any lighting situation.

Is your media preference film or digital?
Digital

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
My presence is guaranteed at the event.

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
The only way I will miss an event/wedding is if something catastrophic has happened. In that event, I do have agreements with other photographers of similar skill level to cover for me, should the need arise.

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Absolutely -- I always have back-up equipment.

Do you charge hourly or full day?
My packages all include full day coverage, but for a session or event requiring less time, I will work up a package that meets all of the client's requirements.

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes, I do retain the copyrights to the photographs though I do provide a release for my clients to print and/or use their photos for personal use. Commercial usage of the photos are not allowed without prior written authorization.

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
While I offer a release statement for my clients to use their photos (print them and share them online), I reserve the right to publish photos in my online media, marketing media, etc., unless we specifically agree to other conditions.

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
My clients receive all high resolution images on disk or flash drive.

Will images be available for viewing online?
All photos are available for viewing online as well as samples posted to social media sites, my website, etc.

What kind of albums do you offer?
Album offerings range and include (but are not limited to) flushmount, hard cover magazine style books, and lay flat coffee table books. Also have a wide arrange of smaller books perfect for gifts to bridal party, family and friends.
